I think I presented quite well as being a little less worldly and intelligent than I actually am, wouldn't you say. You really did 'have to get up early' to mislead me. I was way ahead of you and knew what you were about long before your tongue slipped under the influence of alcohol. You must have known what you had said and what I may have picked up, but you carried on as though nothing had happened.
Looking back I find it all quite amusing especially, including, who you have ended up with. I was aware of your interest there a good 9 months before you confessed to that affair too.
Those few words are in part a reminder to you of the sort of person you are. Someone who few if any decent men would want anything to do with. You aren't the only woman in the world that acts as you did, but you are the only woman I ever met who did. I was obviously pitching way below my level.
I've spent some time researching various family trees over the last few months. Surprising what you find. On my father's side a Procurator Fiscal (look it up - it's basically the Public Prosecutor for Scotland). On my mother's various farmers and business owners. So far, on both sides I'm into the mid 1700's.
You can research anybody.....me..........you.... Amazing what you find out about people. Leave you to ponder on that...
Meanwhile....over here we are enjoying our usual warm winter. Here are a couple of photos from last weekend. Remember when you said you could live here and fly home (your home) for family. Well, you should have followed that particular impulse and rejected all those others that led you to where you are now.
We measure our winter like this :))) >>>>>>>>>>>>>
Something different - one of Tom's (Ash's youngest) old CO's, he's now retired. The CO that is not Tom
Just to keep you up to date - this was taken at a recent party at a friend's, here in Naples. I'm a pretty lucky fella don't you think - guess you wouldn't agree and THAT I can understand :)
We spent the weekend partly on the boat, partly in the cottage on Sanibel and just relaxing and enjoying our winter sun which averages around 70 - 75F or 21 -25C. It's going to reach a high of 75C today. What did you get up to, I wonder...same old stuff I reckon.
Back in Europe this Spring and Summer. Friends in Leiden and in Norway, trip to see Dieter in Germany and then France, Spain and Italy. Somewhere in between we will be in San Diego and Oregon and the UK....of course That's not everything but enough for you to know. Where would you rather be, working part-time etc or travelling in your own plane and enjoying life to the full? Bet you wish..... But it's a tad too late now isn't it. I did warn you.
Our usual sojourn in Queensland will round off another year before getting back to NH before Thanksgiving. 12 years this year since 2003....
That doesn't include internal flights here to various locations including our place in Manhattan, New York City.
Here's a puzzle for you - I'm sure you know what it is>>>>>>>>>veversealespickup<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
I like to keep you in the picture so to speak so here are a few reminders of places I have been to since....you know what.
Hey! It's that Guy Again!
Guess he will be around for some while yet....
Ciao...and take care
