I thought it was about time I updated you on my travels again.

Most recently I have spent some time in New York, mainly on business but managed to get a few shots. Quite pleased with the last one on this set. The black guy on the crossing reminds me of that famous shot of the Beatles.

A little before that trip you may remember I was on a trip to the UK with one of my 'friends' - female, naturally. Travelling by car from London all the way up to your neck of the woods and ending up in Scotland. It was an opportunity for me to trace some of my Scots ancestors to add to the family tree I completed some five to six years ago. We went as far as Inverness where my great grandfather and his forebears hailed from. Highlanders to a man

We stopped off on the way in Nottingham, Yorkshire and Northumbria before crossing the border....

Visited lots of places on our journey. My companion was fascinated. She kept say things like but these places are so old, older than anything in the States. She's no fool (I don't suffer fools easily) but she was bowled over by the real thing. Great trip.

Prior to my trip in the UK I was in Florida for much of the winter. The best place to be, given that Europe is dismal at that time of the year and the northern US is covered in snow

Over recent years I have taken to exploring various parts of Florida and its backwaters with a male friend by way of kayaking into small creeks etc. As a result I have a whole portfolio of parts of Florida many rarely see and many shots of wildlife. I don't only take photos of women, as you can see below!

Earlier in the year as you may recall I was here in Italy - in the north around Milan and then Switzerland...

I thought you might like to see that guy again enjoying an espresso along with a female friend - cropped out of course. I rarely publish any photos of that man now. He is too well known back Stateside and in the literary world.

Finally, of course I have been in my home in New Hampshire and spent time in Nantucket. It takes three hours in my jet. Leaving at say 6.00 am, I'm on the ground in Concord, NH at 9.00 am. Easy, as they say, but money helps.

I couldn't forget some shots of a few of my horses on the ranch .....

They say variety is the spice of life. Thankfully I have both! What a difference between you and me, your life and mine. Your choices and mine........
