Down Under

For LL

Arrived here a few days ago LL - Queensland that is. Now at our place just a little south of Brisbane after a good night's sleep and an early breakfast.

As you may recall we have two places here. Our penthouse with views of the Pacific and another apartment up at Noosa Heads, almost on the beach. Weather is good - it's summer here - food great especially the seafood, and coffee excellent.

Hawaii was superb, as it always is, and there were some good waves on the North Shore. Now we have a month here and in New South Wales. Not a bad life is it LL, enjoying summer all over again. One you could have enjoyed once. You chose otherwise. Not one of your best moves was it.

Sky is blue it's 28C and the sea is looking great lapping on to the sandy beaches below us. Lots of good restaurants and a few quirky stores where we are makes a nice change from the States. Our way of relaxing away from it all and you can't get much further away!

Once you could have enjoyed all this but you have a great knack of backing the wrong horse, unlike me. You were the only slight mistake I ever made, and I soon put that behind me and moved on to pastures new. That's pastures, in plural, because as you now know I happily entertained several women, concurrently, at various times through those years during and following you.

Some of us are born to win, and some born to lose.The winners can help the losers, but only if the losers want to be helped or have the courage to take the hand of a winner and someone who once loved them, dearly.
